Wetlands Assessment
Our investigation consists an office and on-site reviews of soils, vegetation and hydrology. We conduct a review of the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) data for the county, to determine areas where hydric soils may occur. After reviewing the soil survey, National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) and topographic maps, potential wetland areas are noted for use during the site investigation. Using these observations, boundaries of potential are flagged with the study area and the extent of wetlands determined.
